Join us for the Creative Family Gatherings Art Exhibition

This Friday, attend a fun and inspiring exhibition where families will showcase their creativity and bond through artistic expression. Creative Family Gatherings is a six-week art program that introduces contemporary art and art-making to women and their children who are clients at Hour Children, an organization that supports those impacted by a mother’s incarceration.

This program is a collaboration between The Society of Fellows and Heyman Center for the Humanities, Hour Children, and Art and Resistance through Education, and generously funded by Humanities New York.

The celebration will be on Friday, August 23, from 3:00PM—5:00PM at The Queens Public Library, 37-44 21st St, Long Island City, NY 11101.
