JIE Scholar Jonathan Wrenn named GS Senior Marshal and Change Agent Award recipient

Justice-in-Education Scholar Jonathan Wrenn was named a Senior Marshal — one of Columbia’s highest commencement honors — and received the Change Agent Award in recognition of his academic accomplishments and advocacy on behalf of system-impacted students.

“Together, these experiences represent what my time at Columbia has meant to me: using my journey not only to succeed personally, but to uplift others,” Jonathan shares in a profile published by the School of General Studies.

Jonathan graduated from Columbia University in May 2026 with a degree in Computer Science. Following graduation, he began his career as a software engineer at Rasa Legal, a public benefit corporation focused on making criminal record clearing accessible and helping individuals forge pathways to second chances in the legal system.

The Justice-in-Education Initiative congratulates Jonathan on his outstanding achievements and wishes him continued success as he embarks on this next chapter.
