The Justice-in-Education Initiative is thrilled to celebrate that JIE Scholar alum Annie O ‘Connell has been accepted to Columbia Law School as a transfer from Brooklyn Law.

Here’s what Annie has to say about her acceptance:

I am thrilled to announce my acceptance to Columbia Law School! However, this achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support I received from Brooklyn Law School. Last year, I was warmly embraced by numerous professors, faculty members, and alumni at Brooklyn Law School. I am deeply thankful for the countless office hours and study groups that enabled me to excel academically. I have been fortunate to have the encouragement of many fellow BLS students who pushed me to grow.

Although leaving Brooklyn Law School is bittersweet, I am excited to return to my alma mater. Columbia’s Justice-in-Education Initiative and the School of General Studies marked the beginning of my educational journey, and I am now eagerly looking forward to completing it at Columbia Law School!
