November 19, 2020 In the Press
The San José Museum of Art has just launched Barring Freedom, a new exhibition and online event series about art, prison, and justice.
Partners on the exhibit include the Arts and Sciences at University of California, Santa Cruz and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a member of NY-CHEP.
Reviewing the exhibition for Hyperallergic, Emily Wilson writes,
The driving force behind the show is using art to engage people in different ways, so they can see the dynamics of racism.
