The Marshall Project Launches “News Inside”

March 7, 2019 In the Press

The Marshall Project, a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization that covers the criminal justice system, has recently created a free magazine entitled “News Inside.” It is designed to meet the needs of incarcerated students taking college courses while respecting facility security concerns.

“News Inside” contains a compilation of the Marshall Project's best and most relevant work including new legal developments, prison programs, stories that inspire hope, criminal science reads, and life inside stories.

Robert Wright, research assistant at the Center for Justice, has an essay in the first volume entitled “Getting Out of Prison Meant Leaving Dear Friends Behind.”
